Hike to Ratitovec (1678)

We keep the hiking trend going and this time we conquered Ratitovec. Matjaž, as usually, had schnapps prepared to reward us after the ascend and we had some good food in the hut on the top. Enjoy some photos and quite comical footage of our descend from the mountain in the tricky terain.

Trip to Venice - 25.2. 2017

We decided to visit Venice during the Carnival (whose fucking idea was that ?!), we saw generic costumes, we were facing the stampead of tourists, we were served mediocore food  and overpriced ice-cream but the architecture was nice. I would give it 7/10.

Slovenian movie night - Moj ata socialistični kulak

On Sunday 5th of March we had the first Slovenian movie night ! Matjaž, our coordinator, introduced us to a comedy, critically portraying the life in a small village during the socialist times when meat was not yet allowed to be butchered but once the communism came, there would be plenty. Winter-snowy-cold hike to Porezen (1630)

On a cold morning of Janury 29th, we set on a long and cold adventure. What made this journey special was the extraordinary cold that went through all our clothes and deep into the bones. As we walked up the hill to reach our target - Porezen - we were falling, sometimmes knee deep, into snow, whitch was also cold. Nevertheless we got to the top and it was worth it, for it was cold AND windy there. Once we came back down, it was cold there too, so it was not much of an improvement. Screw this winter already.

EVS Space Pirate Party

There was supposed to be amazing invitation video for the party, but it came late. There was supposed to be a footsal tournament, but there wasn`t. There was supposed to be air guitar competition, but there wasn`t. Nevertheless it was a party worth remembering with Kloštar, karaoke and a proper treasure hunt ! Enjoy some photos from the party and a short movie we made to accompany it.

Jam session

Ostriga has never been so cozy! With few instruments, a big carpet, some lights and many good people, it's easy to create good vibes. Music connects people and that's why we are looking forward to organize another jam. Thanks to everybody for coming. 

Hiking to Viševnik

Lithuanian movie night with kepta duona !

Traditional sunday we had a Lithuanian movie night with some revolution in our hearts ! 
Greta showed a short documentary movie about Lithuanian independence path. Its a story about singing revolution, about people who raised their independence with the smiles and songs regardless of the danger of the situation. We also tried some Lithuanian cuisine and  indeed kepta duona (fried bread) left everyone speechless.

EVS Movie Night- Italia

The first movie presented this year was: Tre uomini e una gamba (Three men and one leg).
The movie is a road trip comedy with three friends struggling with an essential life choice: economical safety or freedom.
Good movie, company and free food made this winter day warmer compare with low temperature outside! :)
